This country is split in two: those who have fear and those who have rage.
You, the bourgeoisie, are the ones with fear.
Fear of losing your jewels, your expensive watches, your cellphones.
Fear of your daughters being violated.
Fear of your sons being kidnapped.
Fear of being killed.
You live as prisoners of your fear.
Trapped in your armored cars, your restaurants, your clubs, your stupid malls.
Entrenched.
Terrified.
We live with rage.
Always with rage.
We possess nothing.
Our daughters are born violated.
Our sons, kidnapped.
We are born without life, without a future, without a thing.
But we are free because we have no fear.
We don't care if we grow up in mud and shit, if you throw us in your jails, or if we end up in your morgues as anonymous corpses.
We are free.
We can eat garbage and breathe the putrid air of the sewers and drink piss and swim in black water and get sick with diarrhea, dysentery, typhoid, and syphilis, and sleep on feces, and not bathe, and reek of sweat and dirt and death—it doesn't matter, we resist.
You, with your flabby flesh, your soft brains, wouldn't survive a minute outside your fear.
And no matter how much your police and your armies massacre us, we persist. We are unbeatable. We multiply like rats. If you take out one of us, thousands more emerge. We survive in the rubble. We flee through hidden places.
You fall apart in pain if you lose one of your own. You shit yourselves just hearing the word "death." Not us. We are free. Without fear. With rage. Free.

Miedo a perder sus joyas, sus relojes caros, sus celulares.
Miedo a que violen a sus hijas.
Miedo a que secuestren a sus hijos.
Miedo a que los maten.
Viven presos de su miedo.
Encerrados en sus autos blindados, sus restaurantes, sus antros, sus estúpidos centros comerciales.
Atrincherados.
Aterrados.
Nosotros vivimos con rabia.
Siempre con rabia.
Nada poseemos.
Nuestras hijas nacen violadas.

Nacemos sin vida, sin futuro, sin nada.
